Fields of work and career perspectives
The typical fields of work are in the areas of automation technology, telecommunications and mobile radio, in the energy sector in the area of traditional or renewable energies, in image, sound and speech processing, microsystems technology, nanotechnology and medical engineering. Electrical Engineering in today's sense is therefore a very extensive field! Our graduates are sought-after and valued in many areas - as highly specialized experts, but also as generalists.

Our Bachelor's degree program Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and Computer Engineering provides students with the mathematical, electrical engineering, physical and information technology fundamentals necessary to successfully pursue the profession of an engineer in this field. The degree program Business Administration and Engineering, with the specialization Electrical Power Engineering offers "the best of both worlds": a solid education in the mathematical, scientific and general electrotechnical fields and the relevant knowledge for later focusing in Electrical Power Engineering. The degree program Technology Communications aims at the training of transfer specialists, because an increasing number of experts are needed for the design of communication processes in which technical facts are taught. The degree program is interdisciplinary, i.e. with Communication Science and the basics of Electrical Engineering as equal subjects. More detailed information
In order to be able to teach at vocational colleges in the field of Electrical Engineering, we have established our own Bachelor of Science degree programs as a basis. Those who continue with a Master of Education are well prepared for the teaching profession - and for other interesting occupational profiles!
