For many years, the IT Center has been operating high-performance computer to support institutions and staff of RWTH Aachen in teaching and research. The RWTH High Performance Computing service consists of the following modules:

  • Frontend Systems
  • Batch Systems
  • File Systems
  • User Software

The IT Center provides guidance and methodological support, and conducts research on the design of innovative computer architectures. The HPC team furthermore is interested in cooperation concerning parallel programming.

The HPC team offers tutorials and workshops on various aspects of high-performance computing.
