Tender From RWTH Aachen University for a Consortium of Universities in North Rhine-Westphalia
The framework contracts concluded by RWTH with the companies Bechtle GmbH for DELL X64 servers and Itiso GmbH for Huawei All Flash SAN Storage will expire on November 30, 2025.
RWTH will therefore issue a new call for tenders in good time for the needs of a consortium of universities in North Rhine-Westphalia in the areas of “X64 Servers” and “All Flash SAN Storage” in an open procedure.
The aim is to conclude new contracts with a term beginning on December 1, 2025 and a term of two years, including the option to extend for a third and fourth year (maximum four years total contract term).
The tender will be carried out in cooperation with Department 7.3 - Central Purchasing of RWTH and the IT Center of RWTH.
We would like to point out to RWTH institutions that the IT Center will contact all institutions in writing with an e-mail to inquire about requirements by April 2025 at the latest.
If you, as an RWTH institution, wish to use the future contracts, we require your binding demand reports with realistic forecasts of your requirements during the contract period of the future contracts.
