RWTHgpt is receiving another model update: the new language model GPT-5.5 is now available to users.
In addition to the updated model offering, GPT-5.5 also brings improvements in data processing. Unlike the previously used models GPT-5.2 and GPT-5.3, which allowed for worldwide data processing, GPT-5.5 processes data entirely within the European Union.
The model GPT-5.4-mini remains available. Going forward, model availability and usage limits are structured as follows:
For employees
- GPT-5.5 (Reasoning high): 100 requests per 3 hours
- GPT-5.5 (Reasoning minimal): 100 requests per hour
- GPT-5.4-mini: 1,000 requests per hour
For students
- GPT-5.5 (Reasoning high): 100 requests per day
- GPT-5.5 (Reasoning minimal): 100 requests per 6 hours
- GPT-5.4-mini: 250 requests per 6 hours
