Application for user certificates (S/MIME) now via the RA portal

Today, August 15, 2023, the RA portal (ra-portal.itc.rwth-aachen.de) will additionally be enabled for the issuance of user certificates in the GÉANT/TCS (PKI).

DFN-PKI Global used up to now will cease operation on August 30, 2023. Until August 29, 2023, user certificates can therefore be issued both via the familiar DFN-PKI Global service and via GÉANT/TCS (PKI). All certificates that have been or will be issued via the DFN-PKI Global service by August 29, 2023, will retain their validity status for a maximum of 3 years after certificate issuance.

Please note that requests for user certificates via the DFN-PKI Global service can be submitted to the IT-ServiceDesk at Seffenter Weg 23 by August 25, 2023 at the latest, or to the SuperC by August 22, 2023.
