Target Group and Prerequisites
This offer is aimed at students and staff looking to find themselves and reach a balance in body, soul and spirit.
Content and Objectives
The course centers on calm meditation. The practice of calm in concentration and awareness enables us to become more aware of our inner motives and processes of thought and action, as well as give us an insight into what moves or blocks us. This can act as motivation and a starting point to question views, customs and habits, to expand positive ones and rid oneself of negative ones.
The course provides an introduction to the practice of meditation while sitting and walking in the calm of Zen and introduces approaches to giving calm space in the noise of daily life. Additionally, examples will be shown, that give insight into the origins and leitmotivs of meditation.
Furthermore, meditation aids in the form of accompanying/supporting exercises will be introduced, like, for example, eutony, awareness and mindfulness, as well as breathing exercises.
Please bring comfortable clothing and warm socks.
