RWTH-E-Mail Routing

 

The RWTH email routing service is a managed IT service of the IT Center that supports cross-organizational communication at RWTH Aachen University and FH Aachen University.

Here, incoming and outgoing mail traffic is routed via the RWTH's central mail gateway:

• Incoming traffic is scanned for viruses and SPAM.
• E-mails are accepted from registered RWTH servers and sent to the Internet or accepted from the Internet and delivered to subordinate mail systems.
• The setup of mail domains and the corresponding MX records is done by the IT Center.
