Teaching Load Questionnaire

 

The Teaching Load Questionnaire records the teaching duties performed by the academic employees of RWTH Aachen University. The data of the previous semester are always taken into account in the survey of the teaching offer and the process is repeated every semester. A connection to the campus management system allows the import of course data, which can be changed and supplemented by lecturers. As a rule, manual entry of the courses held is no longer necessary usually.

The Teaching Load Questionnaire thus largely replaces the paper process, which is triggered by the "Dean" role. Employees do not receive a written form, but can revise the pre-filled teacher survey form online, print it out and send it signed to the respective dean's office. So far, Faculties 1 and 7 are using the electronic teacher survey form.

The Teaching Load Questionnaire is used to ensure that university personnel are adequately meeting their teaching responsibilities.Only authorized persons in the respective dean's office are allowed to view the entire persons of the associated dean's office. The head of a department as well as persons authorized by them have access to all data recorded for their chair. Teachers of the respective chair receive an insight into the data recorded for them personally after completion of the recording.
