RWTHgpt’s offerings are expanding: Effective immediately, the platform supports not only text generation but also image creation. This allows users to create illustrations, visualizations, concept sketches, or graphics directly within RWTHgpt.
Image generation opens up a wide range of applications in academic studies, teaching, research, and administration—for example, for creating teaching materials, presentations, or visualizing complex concepts.
Several image generation models are available at launch. The service will be continuously developed and expanded with additional models in the future. The currently available models and their respective usage limits can be viewed directly in RWTHgpt at any time.
For each model, various parameters—such as image format or image quality—can be customized individually.
Responsible Use
The same legal and organizational requirements apply to the use of image generation as to all generative AI services at RWTH Aachen University. Before using the service, all users must read and follow the checklist for the legally compliant use of image-, audio-, and video-generating AI services. In particular, the requirements regarding data protection and the handling of confidential and sensitive information must be strictly adhered to.
