The login options in Coscine are being updated: The current single sign-on (SSO) system will be discontinued in the coming weeks. In the future, users will be able to log in exclusively via “Login (All Institutions),” which is based on the NFDI RegApp Community AAI, or via ORCID.

With the introduction of login via the NFDI RegApp Community AAI, users from all connected universities and institutions can authenticate themselves through a central login option. This simplifies the onboarding of new institutions and improves the management of login options in Coscine in the long term.

If you have been using Single Sign-On or have multiple Coscine accounts, you should link your accounts together in a timely manner. This will ensure that you continue to have unrestricted access to your projects and research data even after the transition.

Detailed information about the transition can be found in our blog post. Instructions for linking your accounts can be found in the Coscine documentation.
