100 RWTH E-mail Accounts affected by identity theft

There are about 100 RWTH e-mail accounts among the three million german e-mail accounts affected by identity theft, which were gathered by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) during an ongoing investigation.

The owners of compromised accounts will receive an e-mail by RWTH Aachen University today, which will inform them about the identity theft und give them further instructions to solve the problem.
