The RWTH E-Mail Routing service is a managed IT service of the IT Center that supports cross-organizational communication at RWTH Aachen University and FH Aachen University.
Here, incoming and outgoing mail traffic is routed via the RWTH's central mail gateway:
- Incoming traffic is scanned for viruses and SPAM.
- E-mails are accepted from registered RWTH servers and sent to the Internet or accepted from the Internet and delivered to subordinate mail systems.
- The setup of mail domains and the corresponding MX records is done by the IT Center.
