Workflow with Git and GitLab

Course Description

Git is a widely used version control tool that allows you to document changes to files and projects in a traceable manner. GitLab extends Git with features for collaborative project work and supports, among other things, repository management, team collaboration, and structured software development.

The course “Workflow with Git and GitLab” teaches the basics of version control with Git and demonstrates how GitLab can be used for project collaboration. Participants will learn a typical workflow—from creating and managing a local Git repository to saving and tracking changes, and collaborating with others via a shared repository.

Using practical examples, the course teaches basic Git commands and how to use GitLab. It also focuses on managing changes in a structured way and making the various stages of a project’s development transparent.

The course is intended for students who have not yet used Git and GitLab, or have used them only minimally, and who would like to gain a basic, hands-on introduction to version control and collaborative work on software projects.
