The IT Center will once again be offering free IT training courses as part of the fIT program in the 2025/2026 winter semester. The courses are aimed at all students who want to acquire basic IT skills or refresh their existing knowledge. Registration will be open from September 15, 2025, via RWTHonline.
Current Course Offerings
- Microsoft Excel
- Programming in Microsoft Office
- Introduction to Python
- Text Processing using LaTEX
- Introduction to MATLAB
- Simulation with MATLAB and Simulink
All fIT courses require registration and are held in German. The first courses start on October 9, 2025. New course dates will be posted online successively.
There are no credit points for participating in fIT courses. However, upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate. Bachelor's students can have this entered in their “Diploma Supplement” if applicable. For further information, please contact the Central Examination Office.
