Course Description

The aim of this course is to teach Microsoft Excel users the basics of automation. Users should be enabled to solve their own problems independently and understand the basic functions of Visual Basic.

Contents/Procedure

  • Functions and applications of the “Developer Tools” ribbon
  • Creating macros for automated task management
  • Application-oriented programming with Visual Basic
  • Creation of forms and standard queries
  • Debugging and program monitoring

Various exercises will be completed in the course on the individual topics. The aim is to learn the basics of the course content and then consolidate this knowledge in the form of homework assignments.
