We are pleased to announce that the git.nrw service at RWTH Aachen University is now in pilot operation. Employees and students can use the service with immediate effect. Access is gained by selecting the “git.nrw University Login” and then via the RWTH Single Sign-On.

The associated project git.nrw is a cooperative project of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and is being jointly implemented by five universities: In addition to RWTH Aachen University as the consortium leader, the University of Cologne, University of Münster, University of Duisburg-Essen and Cologne University of Applied Sciences are participating. The aim is to provide and operate a centrally operated GitLab instance for the universities in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The project is supported by DH.NRW and funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science.

Information on the start of the pilot operation at the respective universities will be announced accordingly via their channels.

Further information on the project can be found on the git.nrw project website and on our website. Instructions for RWTH staff and students can be found on IT Center Help.
