For events organized by RWTH institutions, temporary telephone and data network connections are provided. A standard provision includes up to 10 active cable data connections.

Depending on the size and scope of the event, complex cabling may have to be installed. The IT Center will then have to plan for the corresponding personnel and transport resources.

 

Therefore, please contact the IT Center in advance, ideally three to four weeks before the event.

 

Note:

Notifying the IT Center of your need for data connections does not release you from the need to reserve the necessary rooms (lecture hall allocation). Required power connections must also be registered separately.
