Overleaf is an online editor for LaTeX documents that allows users to collaborate on scientific publications. LaTeX is a popular typesetting language used primarily in scientific documents. Collaborating on documents can be challenging, especially when multiple people want to work on them simultaneously. Overleaf provides a simple and efficient solution by providing an online editing tool.

With Overleaf, users can create and edit their LaTeX documents directly in the browser. Thanks to the collaborative feature, several people can work on a document at the same time, making changes and adding comments. This enables efficient collaboration, especially for scientific projects involving multiple people.

Overleaf is made available to users in the community cloud version in collaboration between the IT Center of RWTH Aachen University and the Technical University of Darmstadt.
