The IT Center will once again be offering free IT training courses as part of the fIT program in the 2026 summer semester. The courses are aimed at all students who want to acquire basic IT skills or refresh their existing knowledge. Registration will be possible via RWTHonline from March 13, 2026.

- Introduction to MATLAB
- Introduction to Python
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Microsoft Word
- Programming in Microsoft Office
- Simulation with MATLAB and Simulink
- Word processing in LaTEX
Registration is required for all fIT courses. The first courses will start on April 9, 2026.
There are no credit points for participating in fIT courses.However, upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate. Bachelor's students can have this entered in their “Diploma Supplement” if applicable. For further information, please contact the Central Examination Office.
