A high-performance alliance:
Association for National High Performance Computing founded

On August 23, 2021, the Association for National High Performance Computing - NHR-Verein e. V. was founded by computing centers of universities or university alliances.

The association ensures a fair, science-led, national allocation procedure for computing time, strengthens the methodological competencies of scientists, enables education and training in high-performance computing, and thus ensures the performance of scientific computing in Germany in the long term by building competencies.
