Shutdown of simpleArchive
The service simpleArchive has enabled employees of RWTH Aachen University to archive data up to 2 GB at a time.
On October 5, 2021, the simpleArchive service will be shut down. From this date, functions such as uploading, archiving and downloading research data can no longer be used. Instead, research data can be archived via the Coscine integration platform.
As part of the shutdown, data archived via simpleArchive will be automatically migrated to Coscine. Thus, the user data and the functionalities for archiving research data via Coscine will remain.
