Reopening SuperC and Printing Service
Monday, May 02, 2022 is the day:
The IT Center's IT-ServiceDesk takes a big step towards normality. Both the SuperC support location and the print service will reopen for personal contact.
IT ServiceDesk in the SuperC
The IT ServiceDesk in the SuperC reopens to the public today to freely assist with questions about our IT services. Consultations are available without booking an appointment. The ServiceDesk at Templergraben 57 will initially be staffed during the following hours:
Monday: 7:30 - 12:00
Tuesday: 7:30 - 12:00
Wednesday: closed
Thursday: 12:00 - 16:00
Friday: 7:30 - 12:00
Furthermore, there will be limited device support. Support will be contactless whenever possible. However, we will unfortunately not yet be taking larger support requests such as software installations on site again.
We would also like to point out that currently the Meeting Point Mobile Devices (TreMoGe) is not offered at any other IT ServiceDesk location. Assistance in setting up and using the IT services of the IT Center of RWTH Aachen University on mobile devices will continue to be offered through our various communication channels:

Printing service at Seffenter Weg 23
The print service opens its doors again. Starting today, our printing service again offers the possibility to order large posters, technical drawings or banners. The printing service can currently only be used by employees of institutes, chairs, affiliated institutes and student organizations of RWTH Aachen University and the University Hospital.
In order to print a poster via the print service, a user ID must first be requested. This ID card will be used for later billing.
Pickup is possible at Seffenter Weg 23 on the following days (*) :
Monday: 8:45 - 13:15
Tuesday: 8:45 - 16:00
Wednesday: 8:45 - 13:15
What else should I be aware of?
As already announced by RWTH Aachen University, the IT Center also recommends wearing a mouth-nose covering. Furthermore you have the possibility to use the disinfection dispensers at many places in the IT Center as well as SuperC.
In addition, we refrain from customs such as shaking hands as well as other physical contact and place emphasis on maintaining the minimum distance of 2 meters. In return, you will receive our best smile, which will reach you even beyond the mouth-nose coverage
