In order to promote student self-administration and communication among each other in the digital winter semester 2020/21, the Microsoft 365 service for students will start with the start of the preliminary courses on September 23, 2020.
The use of Microsoft 365 is voluntary, it is not used for courses. Before using the service, the terms of use have to be confirmed in the RWTH-Selfservice, after that, a login via the RWTH Single Sign-On is possible.
After agreeing to the terms of use, the online applications Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Sway, Forms, Flow, PowerApps and Yammer are available to all registered students.
At the same time, the Center für Lehr- und Lernservices (CLS) activates a Zoom Campus License for all students of RWTH Aachen University. From now on, students can register with Zoom via RWTH Single Sign-On and automatically receive a personal license with which video conferences with up to 300 participants can be organized.
