The RWTH Aachen University is also living up to its responsibility as the city's largest employer and is switching university operations to emergency mode from Wednesday. Employees will work in mandatory home offices from Wednesday at the latest. Nevertheless, the operational capability of the university's IT services - especially with regard to online teaching - will be ensured in any case.
Regulations of the IT Center
For the IT Center, this means the closure of the following services as of December 16, 2020:
- Personal support at the IT-ServiceDesk at the location Seffenter Weg 23 will be closed.
The personal submission of user and server certificate applications and the issue of fIT certificates will no longer be possible during this time. - The print service will also close.
However, the appointments made up to and including Tuesday afternoon (15.12.2020) will take place as planned.
