Migration on the RADIUS Server: New Root, Old WiFi
Today, August 1, 2023, the migration to the RADIUS certificate of GÉANT OV RSA CA 4 takes place.
The background is that in the future the new certification instance GÉANT/TCS will be used and will replace DFN-PKI Global. The use of the new certification instance means that the RADIUS authentication server will receive a new root and thus also a new certification chain. This will affect eduroam in terms of login and configuration.
In order to continue using eduroam, the so-called fingerprints have to be matched during the next login. This procedure is explained in more detail on the IT Center Blog. An overview of the relevant fingerprints is available on IT Center Help.
Further help and configuration instructions for the relevant operating systems can also be found on IT Center Help.
