Unscheduled Maintenance of the RWTH Telephone System (Cisco)
Due to a certificate change required on short notice, there will be unscheduled maintenance on the Cisco phone system this Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 7am to 9am.
During this period, impairments to telephony via the Cisco system are to be expected. This will include Cisco desk phones as well as softphone usage (Jabber and Webex).
For emergency calls, affected employees please use the mobile network during this period.
Alcatel telephones are not affected by the maintenance and can still be used. However, we ask users of the Alcatel system to note that RWTH institutions already using the Cisco system may not be available by phone during the maintenance.
