The partner procedure will be discontinued on September 1, 2025. It will be replaced by the role "Angehörige Organisationseinheit" which has already been activated for a large number of organizational units and can be assigned by the respective role administrators.
Activation will take place according to organizational categories. An overview of the activated categories can be found on IT Center Help.
The IT Center is taking this step because the change to the role will simplify the administration of partners in the individual organizational units:
- Overview for the organizational units of the persons currently partnered, as all assigned roles can be viewed and administered centrally by the role administrators in the IdM role and group management.
- Use of already established applications and processes.
- Clearly defined contact persons for the activation of external persons, including substitution rules by the role administrators.
If you are currently a sponsor or partner in the partner process, you will be informed separately by the IT Center via email in the coming weeks.
