Member of the European Parliament pays IT Center a visit

Within the “Future Lab Aachen 2016” project, which is a cooperation of all higher education institutions of Aachen to present the city as City of Science, Ms. Sabine Verheyen, Member of the European Parliament pays IT Center a visit.
Ms. Verheyen informed herself, together with other representatives of the Christian Democratic Employees (CDA), an association of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) in the course of a CDA summer event in August, about the development and digitalization of the world of study and research.
Next to lectures and reports by IT Center employees, a visit of the “aixCAVE” from the Virtual Reality Group (VRG), which is one of the biggest Virtual Reality labs of the world, was offered.
