GitLab: From pilot to go live

 

In the context of the software Engineering Services and after an extensive internal testing in April of this year, the IT Center provides the Open-Source-Software Git/GitLab in the pilot operation to all employees and students of the RWTH Aachen.

After a period of eight months of a successful pilot phase the service is now becoming an official service of the IT Center.
