Last year, the Joint Science Conference (GWK) announced that three NFDI consortia with RWTH participation would be funded in the first round of calls. This year, RWTH is also following up on its success, as eight of the ten funded consortia have RWTH participation. As early as May 2021, the German Research Foundation (DFG) informed the participating initiatives in the second round of calls whether it would recommend funding as part of the establishment of a National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). Now the final decision on funding by the GWK has been made after the second round of calls:
- BERD4NFDI
- DAPHNE4NFDI
- NFDI4DataScience
- NFDI4Earth
- FAIRmat
- MaRDI
- NFDIMatWerk
- NFDI4Microbiota
- PUNCH4NFDI
