Limited Availability of Identity Management
At the semester change, maintenance of the central user administration of RWTH Aachen University - the Identity Management (IdM) - takes place regularly in order to process a large amount of changed data.
For this reason, the system will have limited availability from Friday, September 30, 2022 from 4pm until Tuesday, October 10, 2022 at 9am.
During this time, it will not be possible to redeem coupons. However, it will be possible to create new accounts and change personal data in Selfservice or in connected systems. Only the transmission of the corresponding data may be delayed until the end of the maintenance on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 9am.
Passwords of existing accounts can be changed at any time during the maintenance period. As usual, these changes will be applied to the corresponding accounts shortly thereafter.
For this reason, we would like to point out that all coupons should be redeemed by September 30, 2022 before 4pm or wait until Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 9am to redeem them. This also includes to the creation of new accounts and changes to personal data.
In particular, new employees who start their service at RWTH Aachen University at the beginning of the month should ideally redeem their ConnectMe coupon before 4pm on September 30, 2022. This is generally possible up to six weeks before the start of service.
